1. GE Unemployment and CPI (03:55 & 08:00 ET) Bearish EUR — PPI was stronger but pace of employment growth was slowest in 21 months

2. CA Q4 GDP (08:30 ET) Bullish CAD — Slightly better trade data in Q4, slightly worse retail sales

3. US Personal Income and Personal Spending (08:30 ET) Bullish USD — Potential for upside surprise given slightly stronger spending and average hourly earnings

1. EZ Economic Confidence (05:00 ET) Bearish EUR — IFO was stronger but ZEW was weaker. Ultimately between Brexit and the virus, sentiment should be lower

2. CA Current Account Balance (08:30 ET) Bullish CAD — Slightly better trade data in Q4

3. US GDP revisions, Personal Income and Personal Spending (08:30 ET) No Trade — Revisions are difficult to predict but changes will be very market moving

2. US Consumer Confidence (10:00 ET) Bullish USD — Potential upside surprise given stronger University of Michigan sentiment index and record breaking moves in stocks

Here’s what we are looking for in tomorrow’s economic reports (February 14, 2020) — Good Luck Trading!

1. NZ Business PMI (16:30 ET) No Trade — Last month, trade balance improved despite PMI drop & that could be reflected this month

2. GE Q4 GDP (02:00 ET) Bearish EUR — Significantly weaker retail sales, trade balance also lower

3. EZ Q4 GDP and trade balance (05:00 ET) No Trade — Weaker French and GE trade balance. Since German GDP released same day, best traded reactively

4. US Retail Sales (08:30 ET) Bearish USD — Wage growth accelerated, albeit less than expected. Gas prices fell sharply so spending could miss.

5. US University of Michigan Sentiment Index (10:00 ET) Bearish USD — Coronavirus expected to take a toll on sentiment

1. AU PMI Services (16:30 ET) No Trade — PMI Manufacturing fell sharply but retail sales is up

2. Chinese Trade Balance (00:00 ET) No Trade — Chinese data is incredibly market moving and trade is likely to be weaker but Chinese data is difficult to predict.

3. German Trade Balance (02:00 ET) Bearish EUR — Potential upside surprise given rise in German PMI Manufacturing

4. US Non-Farm Payrolls (08:30 ET) No Trade — Non-farm payrolls is very market moving but best traded reactively

5. CAD Employment Report (08:30 ET) No Trade — IVEY released after CAD labor data but likely to be weaker given Bank of Caanda outlook

4. US Trade Balance (08:30 ET) Bullish USD — Potential upside given rise in ISM manufacturing

5. CAD Trade Balance (08:30 ET) Bearish CAD — Strong chance of decline given big drop in IVEY PMI

6. US ISM Manufacturing (10:00 ET) Bullish USD — Potential upside given rise in ISM manufacturing
