2. CA Current Account Balance (08:30 ET) Bullish CAD — Slightly better trade data in Q4

3. US GDP revisions, Personal Income and Personal Spending (08:30 ET) No Trade — Revisions are difficult to predict but changes will be very market moving

1. EZ Economic & Consumer Confidence Measures (05:00 ET) Bullish EUR — Uptick in German Gfk index and IFO sentiment index points to potential upside surprise

2. US Personal income, spending and durable goods orders (08:30 ET) No Trade — Tough call as stronger wage growth offset by weaker retail sales

3. Revisions to University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index (10:00 ET) No Trade — Given steep drop in Conference Board index, downside risk likely but revisions are always difficult to predict

2. German CPI (08:00 ET) Bearish EUR — Potential downside surprise as oil prices were much lower in June than May. PPI also fell.

3. US GDP Revisions (08:30 ET) No Trade — Revisions to US GDP are difficult to predict but changes will be market moving

2. EZ Confidence (05:00 ET) Bearish EUR – Potential downside surprise as business confidence is down, ZEW is mixed and stocks are falling so confidence should be lower

3. US Consumer Confidence (10:00 ET) No Trade – The University of Michigan Index increased but stocks fell so tough call

1. RBNZ Rate Decision (21:00 ET) No Trade – No changes are expected from RBNZ and rate decisions are best traded reactively

2. Canada Trade Balance (08:30 ET) Bearish CAD – Potential downside surprise given lower PMI but last month’s reading was very weak

3. US Trade & Current Account Balance (08:30 ET) No Trade – The manufacturing index declined which is negative for trade but after last month’s record deficit, an improvement is likely
