For those of you that do not know us – We are Kathy Lien and Boris Schlossberg, currency experts who appear regularly on CNBC and are sought out daily for our views on the forex market. We are known as traders first analysts second and this is not just our slogan. Unlike many market commentators who simply offer up their opinions, we actually risk our own capital every single day. This is why we know how the markets move intimately and understand the day to day frustration and the exhilaration of daytrading the world’s biggest financial market. Collectively, we have more than 30 years of experience trading everything from stocks to options to futures and FX.

At BKForex our edge is combining Fundamentals with Technicals and Sentiment to select the highest probability trading opportunities. We provide our members with 2 kinds of Positional Trades – Shorter Term Swing Trades that can last between 3 and 48 hours along with Medium Term Positional Trades that can last from a few days to a few weeks. Positional Trades are about trading the stories and taking advantage of major trends in the forex market. Past Performance is Not Indicative of Future Results.

#1 Short Term Swing Trades – Trend and News

Our oldest, most mature product has been in operation for more than 4 years and now its even more REFINED. The core of our Shorter Term Swing Trades is data but this is an overview of our trade selection process:

Step 1 – We start by establishing a view on economic data
Step 2 – Check to see if that view is consistent with the overall risk appetite and sentiment in the market
Step 3 – Identify key levels for entry
Step 4 – Identify best time to enter the trade

We believe that with currency markets more volatile than ever, timing the trade and picking the right entry points is critical to achieving long term consistent success. At BK Forex our edge has always been to combine fundamentals with technicals and sentiment to select the highest probability trade possible and with focusing on trading specific sessions, we can exploit that edge even better while avoiding unnecessary volatility. Past Performance is Not Indicative of Future Results.

All of our trades come with a Trading Plan which includes:

• Our reasons for the trade
• Currency pair that we will be trading
• Time when the trade alert with specific entries, exits and stops will be sent via text/SMS and email.

#2 Medium Term Positional Trades – Key Stories and Themes

Do you have a view on whether:

– Quantitative Easing Will Kill the Dollar?
– The US Economy Will Return to Recession Due to the Fiscal Cliff?
– European Sovereign Debt Crisis will Go Away?
– A Return of Low Volatility Carry?
– China Will Crash?
– Pork Shortage Will Cripple Certain Economies?

Our Medium Term Positional Trades are based on our views on the macro environment and how various fundamental factors will impact currencies. We share with you our views on the major themes affecting the currency market and how to trade them. Here’s an example of our Positional Trades:

Commodity Price Spike? Meat Shortages? Guess Which Currency Benefits?

No bacon in Europe? A shortage of chicken wings for the Superbowl? We’ve all heard the scare stories this fall as the worst drought since the Dust Bowl days of the Great Depression has resulted in some of the weakest yields in corn and soybeans in more than a two decades. If you’ve even casually glanced at the news channels this summer you would have seen endless footage of grim looking farmers and withered ears of corn as record high temperatures in US decimated much of the crop resulting in much sharper feeding costs for livestock animals.

Not Enough Chicken Wings for the Superbowl?????

Now many analysts fear that the culling of the herds will result in shortages and much higher prices for beef, pig and poultry products. In fact according to the Business Insider, John Davie, the head of Dining Alliance, an association representing hundreds of independently owned bars and restaurants around the United States, says his suppliers have told him this year’s poultry flock cull is going to be so massive that there may not be enough chicken and buffalo wings to make it through the Super Bowl.

“There are going to be operators who won’t get certain sizes, certain products,” he said.

Meanwhile in London the National Pig Association in Britain has reported that “a world shortage of pork and bacon next year is now unavoidable.” Less feed led to herds declining across the European Union “at a significant rate,” according to the industry group and “the trend is being mirrored around the world.” The NPA estimates, In the second half of next year, the number of slaughtered pigs could fall 10 percent, doubling the price of European pork.

Whether the dire prediction turn out to be true or not, one thing is fairly certain. The cost of meat products will rise into 2013 and those economies that export meat are likely to benefit mightily from the rise in prices.

Which brings us to New Zealand and the New Zealand dollar (a more thorough explanation is provided to subscribers)….

But here is how we called the Trade on CNBC’s Money in Motion:
